We respect the privacy of people who visit YourBizValue and contact us through Ask the Author.

Information you submit

When you submit a question, we collect the question, your email address, and your name if you choose to provide it. We use this information to review your question, respond when appropriate, and manage the Ask the Author feature.

Form processing

Our question form uses Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Your submission is transmitted to Formspree for delivery and storage in our form dashboard. Formspree processes information under its own privacy practices. See Formspree’s privacy policy.

Publishing questions

Submitting a question does not give us permission to publish it. If we would like to share an edited or anonymous version with readers, we will seek your permission first. Please do not submit confidential business details, sensitive personal information, or information you are not authorized to disclose.

Communications and retention

We may use your email address to respond to your question or request permission to publish an edited version. We do not use Ask the Author submissions to automatically enroll you in a marketing mailing list. Questions and contact information may be retained in Formspree and our email records as needed to manage correspondence. You may request deletion of a submission by emailing rich@yourbizvalue.com.

Site technology

Our website is hosted using Cloudflare. As with most web hosting services, technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata may be processed for security and delivery. External services may have their own privacy policies.
